The father, eager to teach his city-dwelling children about survival, manliness, and resourcefulness, decides to abandon them to the forest, stealing their phones, GPS, and other devices. They must find their way home on their own. Unfortunately, the father gets lost and must rely on the help of a quirky old hunter who maintains the forest's peace and keeps his beloved bear safe.
