Together with his Greek colleague Petros Makropoulos, he immediately begins the investigation. The two are initially very skeptical of each other, but together they manage to identify a suspect. However, the more information they uncover, the more obscure the case becomes, and they soon find themselves in the middle of a transnational corruption scandal.
