From Kezban, he learns about the oppression Celal Ağa has inflicted on the villagers. Settling in one of the abandoned houses in the village, Murat engages in a struggle with the agha's men. It becomes clear that Murat's sole purpose is not to protect the villagers from the agha when he confronts Celal Ağa.
