He appoints Abdullah's closest friend Yusuf as editor-in-chief. That same evening, Hayri Bey is murdered. The police suspect Abdullah, whose relationship with his father-in-law was strained, and arrest him. Yusuf, who believes Abdullah is innocent, will try to get his friend out of jail.
